Challenge: Convincing physicians to buy and read yet another medical education piece is not easy. AAP Grand Rounds is a short newsletter format containing especially relevant information. Plus, it offers Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Solution: AAP Grand Rounds was just beginning to experience growth when this mailer dropped. This direct mail piece tripled the response rate of previous marketing efforts pulling in 1056 new subscribers by offering 20% off the cover price. This was a significant accomplishment as AAP Grand Rounds was a new publication at the time. This direct mail effort truly helped launch it to market.
