Client: Hand to Hold is a local non-profit providing support to NICU families. 

Challenge: One of the many challenges preemie parents face is how to provide nutrition for their babies. This decision sometimes involves surgically implanting a feeding tube. It is a difficult and emotional decision. 

Solution: My blog article helps families decide on whether to place a g-tube for their baby’s nutrition. I share my personal story to draw the reader in and then highlight the pros and cons of deciding whether to place a g-tube. The article receives ongoing comments and questions from parents. It was also used by a nursing association as an educational resource.
